Hi! I'm Evelyn👋 I specialize in strength training and conditioning, corrective exercise and mobility, alongside lifestyle and nutrition to support fitness goals and overall wellbeing. My approach is rooted in functional movement, emphasizing technique, muscle balance, and mobility to support long-term results. You'll walk away with improved everyday performance, increased strength and energy, and better movement quality while achieving their goals. Whether your focus is strength, fat loss, building muscle definition, injury prevention, or simply moving better in daily life, I’ll guide you to train with intention, awareness, and efficiency.

My path to fitness began through a different kind of discipline - I come from a background in opera performance and vocal pedagogy, where I learned early on that my body was my instrument, and in the process, developed valuable teaching skills. Approaching movement through an artistic lens first, I became fascinated with how the body works and how intentional movement can improve our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.I began my fitness journey in my 20s. After years of only doing running and yoga, I discovered strength training - and it changed my life. I was able to keep the mind-body practices and aerobic work, while building muscle and strength. The shift empowered me not just physically, but in confidence and resilience. I knew then that I wanted to help others feel the same. Your body is also your instrument - whether you’re a performer or not. It’s what carries you through every minute of every day. Treating it with care, strength, and intention isn’t optional - it’s invaluable!

"Literally the most amazing personal trainer I could have asked for. I signed up for my first session 6 months ago in hopes of hitting specific targets for myself; namely glute growth, developing correct form for my lifts, and generally building muscle before I age - not only has she helped with that, but she has exceeded my expectations. She could identify most of my imbalances and weaknesses by the first session (some of which I didn’t even realize at first and she turned out to be totally correct). She then immediately created a tailored plan to get me to my goals while accounting for those weak spots.Everything down to the stretches we do is catered to my physique goals and weak points, and she understands exactly what her client wants and doesn’t want e.g. referencing my case, if you don’t want to grow your upper body too much she knows exactly how to strike a balance between building necessary strength in those muscles without deviating from the physique you want.The advice she gives during heavy lifts and ways of approaching correct form are SO useful - exercises I couldn’t feel before or that would cause pain, like RDLs, feel like a breeze now (or well, at least as much of a breeze as lifting so heavy can feel like).
